How do I use the stuff downloaded from Director Zone?

No information anywhere about it.

What do I do with the .dz[1] files.. How do I get the stuff into PowerDirector...??

I think, there is a problem with the file-names.

Try this way:

click on download
rename the filenname ".dzp[1][1]" (it is for frames) in something like this "frame-1.dzp"
load it to your harddrive
double-click on it and it will importetd to PD7

Can someone please help me. I can down lown the free ones with no problem without logging in. But I'm having problems loggin into Directzone. I'm using the correct log in name and password. Every time I try to log in it tels me to fix my email name but it is totally correct. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Whats the problem?

For example:

Click under "Stage Open" on download.

save this file on your harddrive

if the file has only the end ".dzm" or so, you must rename it to "menu-1.dzm" or so

the doubelclick on it and it will importet to PD

the endings
dzm - menu
dzp - object or frame
dzt - title

How do I get rid of menus/titles so I can run a Blu-Ray directly using the "No Menu" option. Nothing appears to allow the deletion of a menu I downloaded but dont want and my blu-ray player refuses to run my show giving the error message "NO TITLE TO RUN"

Why do PD say that you just download templates and they will work when they actually need to be renamed? Try searching on their FAQ's for which file extensions apply to which effects/particles/pips etc. and there is nothing. You need to know the file extension naming conventions so you can rename the downloads that have none, or they will simply not work.

My experience about downloading from DirectorZone stuffs, after I click download, I choose "open" instead of "save" on pop screen, then the stuff will be saved to right path automatically.

HELP. I use PowerDirector Express. I've searched the site for items relating to this version of the software, and have downloaded some of the .dzp files that supposedly can be used in this software. I've tried changing the file name as the below posts suggest but still can't get them into PowerDirector Express!!!! Why is it so difficult? What am I doing wrong.
