Hi. First, pls make sure you have downloaded the effects available for YouCam 2 (you may get this info in the effect details page). Secondary, pls choose "Open" in the pop up window when you try to download effect files, and the effect files should be imported into your YouCam automatically.

Hi All,

Im new here.

I was looking for the effects that let you change into a moving shark or alien and these kind of effects.

Can you please advice me where I can find such fx? I am using youcam.

I have the same problem. "The file cannot be imported." Get it every time I try to install an effect.

i also get the same pop up saying i cant import it , i believe its because i only have youcam and not youcam2 so i was wondering if there are any downloads for the original youcam and not just youcam2

I also have this problem and I just upgraded to YouCam 2. In fact, I get the message every time I open the program now -- not just when trying to install effects.

Technical Support gave me very thorough uninstall and reinstall instructions, but the problem still exists after reinstalling and patching. VERY frustrating problem. Any ideas anyone?
