Hello,
I have just purchased Power Director 8 delux version.
I have a big problem.. As im in Australia im in a PAL country not an NTSC country.
When i drag my PAL clips into the edit section of the programe it says "warning" that the file is Not NTSC it will convert it for me" then it just freezes and closes! What can i do?

Why do you want to convert the movie? Just say no.

I wish i could. It doesnt give me a choice. Just comes up with a Warning box telling me that the file im trying to add is a PAL format file. It obviously doesnt like it. So it trys to convert it to NTSC then it freezes and quits on me.
I have sent an email to Technical help at Cyberlink. See what happens

Did you go into Editing & change TV format to PAL 25 frames? If you did buy Vegas it is alot better.
