Did you download and install the both the Program and the Content Pack?
If you only downloaded/installed the PD8 program, without also downloading/installing the Content Pack, you will not see all of the [i]effects, transitions, PIP objects, title templates, etc[/i], that are available.
If you are talking about PD7, it is a single download, though has few less [i]effects/transitions/etc[/i].

I notice that jdwebb didn't answer Dafydd's question.
(BTW, all of the color boards in my PD8 are pro colors, except for yellow and light blue. And I am surprised that Cyberlink threw those amateur yellow and light blue colors in there. I thought this was supposed to be the professional version of PD. )
