The Boeing-Stearman P-27 Kaydet was a conventional biplane of rugged construction, with a large, fixed tailwheel undercarriage, and accommodation for the student and instructor in open cockpits in tandem. I was given the gift of flying for half an hour in this canvas and wood biplane, one of only 14 still flying in the world!
