My custom built oak kitchen cabinets

Creator's Description

Just an over view of my custom built oak kitchen cabinets. I used 4 side finished oak planks I purchased at various lumber supply houses, a table saw and a 3.5 HP router that I mounted on a home built 3/4 plywood router table. I would build one unit each weekend. The styles and rails were connected using 3/8 maple dowels and waterproof wood glue. Face frames were connected to base carcus cabinet using wood glue and countersunk finishing nails below the wood surface then filled using matching sealer. I used mniwax satin spar varnish. They were built back in 1986 and still the oak panels never cracked apart.
