Dissolve, 4:3 ratio, looks ok in 16:9 too. I was going to make a complex, impressive-looking transition, but I just could not be bothered. Instead, I found a picture of waves I had taken in Palawan in the Philippines, rotated and cropped it suitably, and here we are - a nice wave dissolve.
