About a day after I was discussing this with "drivingmuppets" on their youtube video "Tring Rd Lights" - the 'problem' arises. Too many of our T junctions have roundabouts painted on them & no lane guidance for the idiots. consequently, two lanes onto a roundabout & only 1 exit. This junction has this problem in the opposite direction. The problem then is that drivers jockey for pole position after the lights. There has also been a number of near misses where traffic in the right lane stops to turn right & those following simply change lanes without looking. Going back to the video, the real problem comes when one of these idiots sideswipes you - insurance will go 50/50. So the innocent motorsit in the correct lane gets increased premiums because someone else can't be bothered to sit in a queue in the correct lane.
