Rhyl Harbour, based on the North Wales Coast has undergone a dramatic refurbishment which has hugely improved the facilities on offer. A boat park offering boat storage and Park and Launch facilities has been built, together with a new launching slipway, pontoons and a quay wall. The harbour offers a range of fore and aft moorings and pontoon berths. The spectacular Pont y Ddraig Pedestrian / cycle bridge is well worth a view. Opened in October 2013, the bridge closes the gap on National Cycle Network Route 5, which runs along the North Wales coast line. This route provides traffic free access to the ‘Wales Coastal Path’ as well as to the new harbour facilities. The bridge opens to allow boats in and out of the harbour, and is operated from the harbour office within the new quayside building.
