Each year, the Yakima Dive Club finds a pond/lake that is in need of clean up from all the garbage and trash that has accumulated. This year, we returned to the Sarg Hubbard Reflection Pool Pond. We cleaned it 9 years ago and to our knowledge, the underwater area has not been cleaned since. About 20 dive club members were involved with the clean up underwater and topside. Hearty Thank You to Yakima Greenway Director Al Brown for his help in coordinating the joint adventure. A special last minute kudos to Dick C. for finding the need to have the concrete stage/platform cleaned of all the goose poop and to the Greenway maintenace workers Rick & Dan for their work.
