I took my grand children on a Dinosaur Hunting Vacation. We went to Vernal Utah and went through the Utah Field House Museium and then just outside of Vernal was a quarry. The Dinosaurs were caught in a flash flood and drowned. The flood left them in a river bed wherre the were covered by layers of dirt for many years. Then an eathquake turned the riverbed on it's side and the rain washed the dirt off exposing the bones. The Scientist took the bones they wanted and built a building over the Quarry so that it could be viewed by visitors.. They ahve also added a visitor welcome center where you can park your car and ride a bus to the Quarry. If your early, You can drive up on your own.
