This is a video of the Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman Alabama. The work and dedication of one monk, Brother Joseph Zoettl, (1878-1961) at the St. Bernard Abbey. Brother Zoettl created over 125 miniatures of world locations and icons associated with the Benedictine faith and claissical stories from the Bible. The center point is the Ave Maria Grotto itself which is a large cave like structure that is 27 feet high, 27 feet wide, and 27 feet deep.
