Every journey starts with a first step! Departing for a motorbike tour of New Zealand, and thought I’d share my “first step”. The events of the morning of departing, the routine, the chores, and of course the drive to the airport. It’s a ritual we all have in common at the start of a journey, but sometimes overlooked as we focus on the adventures ahead. So here is my way of honoring that “first step” we all have to take! Yes, that's Winston the Garage Penguin (the star of "Failure & Success") giggling because he thinks he'll have the house to himself... little does he know the house-sitter will be arriving shortly to keep an eye on him (recognize the cap he's wearing?)!
