TYLER DAWN ROSENQUIST ON RADICAL FORGIVENESS

Creator's Description

This week, Tyler Dawn Rosenquist of the Ancient Bridge, joined Dr.Deb and Kisha with an inspirational message of radical forgiveness. She first discussed her upcoming book, Context for Kids Volume 4: Image-bearing, Idolatry and the New Covenant in the Bible. Is idolatry simply bowing down to a stone or wooden image? Is our idea of idolatry too narrow? What if idolatry is anything that diverts our attention from God? That broadens the field considerably, and requires constant accountability of one’s mind, heart, and actions. This poignant discussion segued into what Tyler referred to as “radical forgiveness.” The thing we desire most from God is His loving forgiveness; and yet, the hardest thing a Believer is asked to do is to forgive others their trespasses against us. What does it mean to actually forgive? How do we work through the pain of being hurt or betrayed? Why is it imperative that we learn to forgive other people? Why do we seek retaliation, revenge, or justify blaming and shaming? And how is this related to being an image-bearer? Listen to find out! She also recounted the many miracles that accompanied her son’s recent accident where he nearly lost his finger; an appendage that is now lovingly dubbed, Lazarus Jr. This testimony also turned out to be a lesson in the power of forgiveness. Listen to find out how. If you want to support Kisha and Dr Deb on renewed, go to www.hebrewnationonline.com
