August Sallas remembering Paul Martin Simon, US Senater of Illinois, Born Nov. 29, 1928 and passed away on December 09, 2003 at the age of 75. Simon, a Korean Veteran, Editor-Publisher of Troy Newspaper and political representative. Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps is a government funding school in Little Village on South Kedzie Ave. it is available to people between the ages of 16-24 who are looking to better themselves and create a positive future for themselves. Sallas spoke to Paul Simon while Simon was in the hospital in Springfiled waiiting for surgey and two days later Simon passed away after his surgery.
