Sunday 2nd. April and Rugby Ramblers are off to Castleton. There are three walks planned for today ranging from 8.5 to 14 miles in length. This is an account of the shortest walk. It starts with an amble acroos the fields and then a stiff climb to the summit of Lose Hill. A fine ridge walk follows along to Mam Tor. The walk ends with a rather tricky descent down Cave Dale, made difficult by the stream running down the path, making the rock strewn path rather slippery.
