The Fleet The Trent Lady riverboat has gained a reputation for exceptional quality & outstanding service since 2001. In 2014 Trent River Cruises expanded to include The Nottingham Crusader, previously owned by the St John Ambulance. We welcome you onboard... The Trent Lady's Lower Deck Our main activities deck houses the galley, a fully-licensed bar, two toilets, seating for approx. 25 people, DJ area and dance floor. The deck is fitted with ambient and disco lighting and audio/visual media facilities. There is also an open fore-deck, which allows people to experience the true pleasure and splendour of the nature on the River Trent. The Trent Lady's Upper Deck Designed with access for the less-able in mind, boarding to this deck is easy with our purpose built boarding ramp. Facilities include a large toilet, which can accommodate a wheelchair, as well as seating for approx. 30 people. There is a Conservatory area, which offers panoramic views of the river. The deck is fitted with ambient lighting and audio/visual media facilities. The History of our Boats Built by Arkwright of Corby, Northamptonshire in 1984, the original name of The Trent Lady was "Melody K" and it resided on the River Thames. On 19th September 1988, the boat changed hands and was renamed “Merrie Englander II”. In 1992 the boat was completely refitted and renamed "The Trent Lady". It was taken over by Trent River Cruises in 2001. The Nottingham Crusader was purpose-built to carry disabled passengers in 2000 for the St John Ambulance Waterwing. When the Waterwing was dissolved at the end of 2013, The Nottingham Crusader was taken over by Trent River Cruises and given a full refurbishment.
