After a 10+ year run, the Macy's Holiday Parade at Universal Studios, Florida has finally been replaced by.....Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's. Whilst the name sounds similar this is a totally different parade, a completely new soundtrack, new floats, balloons and characters. What I liked most about the new parade was that the floats had their own soundtrack so you weren't having to listen to the same loop over and over again like the old parade. The key floats in this parade feature characters from Despicable Me, Shrek & Madagascar and to end the celebration there is the man in red himself - Father Christmas / Santa Claus.
