On this Sunday morning, our organist's prelude was "Sarabane, Gigue." "As Water to the Thirsty" was presented by our choir, and today's scripture reading was Psalm 32. Pastor Wayner's sermon, "Confession Is Healing" reminded us to confess to God. Have you ever felt like you were wasting away? You're not the only one. Many things can cause this in our human condition but Psalm 32 reminds us that we can be spiritually bankrupt too. The text tells us that if we confess our "transgressions to the Lord," that we will experience joy. That seems counterintuitive. We like the hide the things that don't make us look good physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But maybe the best thing we can do it let it go and give God the change to heal our hearts and lives. We hope you're blessed by our worship service.
