Creator's Description

Flavor Blast your taste buds with some delicious, tender, and juicy Char Siu Chicken Thighs cooked in the Air Fryer at low heat. We marinated these thighs for just shy of 9 hours but have had them marinate for 24 hours in the past; the more time the better. I think they turn out so much better with the skin on and bone in thighs rather than the boneless skinless thighs. If you do boneless and skinless thighs, cut your low heat cook down to ~30 minutes and then a blast of 400 degrees at the end of ~7 minutes. Just take a peek every minute or two to make sure you get them nice and crispy to your liking. We all love a nice char on the bottoms of ours and the skin is Oh My Gosh Amazing!!!! Just remember to do that last Blast of high heat with the skin side down to keep it juicy and perfectly crispy. Add a few drops of red food coloring to get an authentic Char Siu look on your meat.
