This cut was recorded for my Gospel album Smiling Faces whcih was a fund raising project for the orphanage in Saratov, Russia, from where three of our four children were adopted. I have known Steve Dilling since 1986 and Russell Moore about as long. I've always loved the Family Bible by Willie Nelson and I couldn't think of a better fitting group of singers than the powerful IIIrd Tyme Out trio. When I appraoched Russell about singing the number he didn't hesitate and went ahead and comitted to it right away.
