When we left our home at Merkel, TX, there was no snow or ice on the ground. About 75 miles later around Eastland, to late to turn back, we starting seeing some snow & then when we got to Lipan, there were snow families everywhere! Our intentions were to pre fish Granbury Lake for an upcoming tournament. After fishing all day with 1 bite, 1 fish we decided not to fish the tournament.
