Easter, 2010. Wayne treated Immy (2 1/2 years old) to her first magic show. This is the third trick Wayne's performed for her. The first was magic coloring book that was sequentially transformed from a book of blank pages to a coloring-book outline form to a fully colored-in book. No reaction. The second was four small silk scarves that were magically transformed into a single, multi colored silk scarf. No reaction. Keep in mind that Immy somehow already knew her magic words and, therefore, presumably, the notion of magic. Also, she counts and seems to know the meanings of the numbers up to about three. What were Immy's expectations? What does it take to surprise a kid like Immy? What does it take to make her laugh? For his final effort, Wayne performs the trick in this video. It's interesting to observe Immy's reactions.
