Doing your own oil changes like me? Want to know how to reset the oil life to 100%. Here is my quick video and the steps to do so. Regarding 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS. Other years and models may have a different sequence, be sure to check with your manuals for all proper maintenances... This is information only and no warranties or guarantees.. #1 Perform routine oil change #2 After starting and reassuring there are no leaks and system functions normally, reset the oil life. #3 Start the ignition #4 Hit SELECT button to indicate the current oil life. #5 Press and hold the RESET for at least 10 seconds until the screen changes. to "MAINT RESET" #6 Using the SELECT button choose the appropriate answer :"MAINT RESET N" (no) or "MAINT RESET Y" (yes) #7 Press and hold "RESET" Button until oil life reads 100% I hope this is helpful....
