My Brother in law Brian has just moved back to the UK after living twenty plus years in San Francisco. He wanted to see how the muddy trails of Northumberland compared with the dusty trails Marin County. We had intended to take him on a moorland x country trail but the weather was miserable so we opted for plan B, a forest ride through Thrunton Woods with three of the guys who build the trails.
