It was an official Cyberlink video editing contest entry from "7 years ago". I know that's before you moved from your room upstairs, down to your Mother's basement so you can play video games all day. But this is a not a video game. When you grow up and move out of virtual reality and the basement into the real world, try to know what you're talking about.

You are correct Captain. Much of the pre-produced aspects of this video are not reflected in the timeline above. But customizing and layering of particles was used, as well as chroma keying. I came up with an extra couple of pre-production steps to achieve a crisper chroma key, which I may publish as a tip someday. Thanks for the comment and support Captain Kevin! Now go vote for me swab, hahaha!

Hmm? Nope. PowerDirector is the only video editing software that I have ever owned or used, except for WindowsMovieMaker, which I have only played with twice in the last 3 years. I have never even seen, or downloaded any trial versions, of any other video editing program. Always been happy with PD since version 4, so I never felt the need or desire to try anything else.
