Walking in Wales, Croesor and Morfa

Creator's Description

February 2012 and we spend another weekend walking in Wales. On day one we catch the Welsh Highland Railway train to Beddgelert and walk up into the hills to Croesor before returning to the cottage. Day two finds us at Morfa Nefyn for a walk along the Welsh Coastal Path to Morfa, a distance of about 10 miles. In places the path has been badly damaged by sheep who have escaped from the adjacent fields and in its currrent state it is not suitable for casual walkers. Apart from ankle deep mud in several places some serious erosion has also taken place.
