　３月１１日、東日本大震災で亡くなった方々を追悼し、復興を誓う「茨城県東日本大震災一周年追悼・復興祈念式典」が県庁で開かれました。　式典の最後には、笠間市立友部小学校の合唱隊が「ふるさと」や「ふるさと」「上を向いて歩こう」などを合唱しました。　参列者は歌声を聞きながら復興への誓いを新たにしていました。
